This website is based on the interplay between literature and the visual arts, photography, film, and music. Author Jan Hontscharenko uses the site as a platform for his ideas, regularly publishing new texts accompanied by illustrations from his sketchbook Free Drawings.

In addition to novels and novellas, the author has published short stories in literary journals; some of these can be read here. As a literary critic, he has published journalistic pieces—primarily focusing on Russian and Israeli writers and poets—and a selection of these reviews is available here.

The author has released three CDs, which have been broadcast by VPRO and Concertzender. He has also created short crossover films in which he performs and reads sketches from his work. As a visual artist, he uses this platform as a gallery to showcase his work, which focuses on non-figurative minimalism.
